WHO WE ARE
Andrew and Chrissy
After six months of dating, I took Chrissy sky-diving to celebrate. That experience of exhilarating joy and fearless adventure reminds us of the season we are entering. Fast forward the tape through 17 years of marriage and ministry, we are taking that jump again! And we can not wait!
What should you know about us? We are the Carrolls, we love God and we love people. We also love movies, hanging out with friends, riding bikes, Harry Potter, and making memories with people we love.
Eden
Eden is a gift from God and the joy of our hearts. She is eleven years old and full of creativity and curiosity. Eden is a social butterfly and has an ability to light up the room with her smile. She gets that from her mom.
She loves to create anything and everything. Her most recent creation was a robot. Its been a big hit! Like Andrew, whatever Eden is currently excited about, she will definitely let you know. She is an excitement evangelist! Overflowing with joy and inventive ideas- she keeps us on our toes, and we could not be happier.
WHY WE’RE GOING
Statistics tell us that 60% of the population will never enter into what we call a “church.” That’s not OK! What’s even worse, too many Christians still feel lost even after they’ve been found. They know what they have been saved from but they haven’t discovered what they have been saved for. This confusion robs them of their identity, destroys their ability to make a difference, and enslaves them to a life of simply going through the motions.
What would it look like if God’s people had clarity on what they were called to do, but more importantly, who they were called to be?
What would it look like for like-minded Christians to live in community and intentionally live out their purpose of sharing God’s love with people who don’t know Him yet?
And what would it look like to see whole neighborhoods and networks explode with new disciples of Jesus?
We want to find out! And that’s why we’re going.
what we’re doing
We have joined a missions organization called NOVO (formerly known as Church Resource Ministries / CRM) to partner with what God is already doing around the world. NOVO is a team of creative missionaries sent to multiply movements of the gospel and mobilize the church for that mission around the world.
Very simply, I (Andrew) will be helping Christians, who have a sense that there’s got to be more, live in the fullness of what God has for them so that new disciples of Jesus are made. I am working with Activate(d), a team that helps believers discover their calling, find their community, and live on mission.
